The Irish Trashcan

If you want a drink that starts a conversation, this is the one. We’ve reimagined the high-energy "Trashcan" with a focus on that beautiful blue-to-green gradient. By layering a deep blue NA curacao at the bottom and topping it with a bright yellow energy drink or green apple Gatorade, you get a "liquid rainbow" in a glass. It’s tart, caffeinated, and the perfect electric green for your St. Paddy’s festivities.

Ingredients Method Notes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 oz White Grape Juice
  • 4 oz Green Apple Gatorade
  • Lime Wedge for garnish

Method
 

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add the blue curacao syrup, lime juice and white grape juice. Stir these together. The liquid will look deep blue.
  3. Pour the Gatorade slowly over the top.

Notes

The standard Trashcan cocktail is made with Red Bull, but I don't like energy drinks so I opted for the Gatorade.
If you can't find Green Apple Gatorade, use a yelllow drink. When mixed with the blue, you will achieve that neon green color.
