Method
- In a shaker, muddle the cucumber slices, basil leaves, and syrup until the cucumber is smashed and the basil is fragrant.
- Add the lime juice and fill the shaker with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled glass over fresh ice.
- Top with the sparkling water. Stir gently from the bottom.
Notes
When you stir the drink from the bottom, be sure not to over-stir so not to lose the bubbles.
